Potato processing industry
Deswarte collaborated with Verschoore Construct to build a silo for a new site belonging to a producer of frozen potato products. This silo is used to store waste material, specifically potato scraps.
Collaboration with Deswarte
The silo was equipped with three shaftless discharge screws, after which the material enters a screw press containing nets to further dewater the product. This ensures that a minimum amount of water is transported.
