Sugar beet processor
A leading French sugar producer successfully installed a decanter to convert raw sugar beet juice into thin juice and foam. This process, in which the solids settle out of the liquid, enables an efficient and streamlined separation process. Thanks to a four-story design, a high flow rate can be processed without taking up much floor space. This decanter processes an impressive 650 m³ of raw juice per hour, with the machine running continuously for four to five months. A central rotating scraping system ensures that the solids are continuously removed, contributing to smooth and efficient operation.
