Animal feed manufacturer
An animal feed manufacturer needed additional storage capacity for its raw materials. Our engineers proposed reusing eight old silos and automating the supply and removal processes. This was also expanded with a truck loading system consisting of two screws and a loading bellows with dust extraction, so that the raw materials could also be delivered externally.
Collaboration with Deswarte
The manual shut-off devices on the silos have been replaced by larger pneumatic slide valves to automate the process and enable a higher flow rate. To this end, all transition hoppers between the silos and the existing chain conveyors have been replaced.
